All K.R. Engineering products that were originally purchased from K.R. Engineering are eligible for free upgrades for the life of the product. The life of the product is necessarily limited by the existence of the virtual worlds in which they are sold. If Second Life or Sinespace ever shut down, we are not responsible for the loss of products purchased from K.R. Engineering on those platforms. These are “act of god” situations that we cannot control or predict.

Before updating items, you should check the ChangeLog of that item by searching for its individual product page. ChangeLogs detail all changes made to our products between versions. Items are subject to both appearance and feature changes when updated, often necessitated by changes to the virtual world platforms on which they are sold. By updating you agree to those changes automatically, whether you have read the ChangeLog or not.

If you have purchased a “used” product from a third-party reseller (someone other than Karsten Rutledge), you may not be eligible for free updates or support. Please see our End of Life policy article for more details. Buying “used” is always risky, as you may be scammed or end up with an unusable table. We have no authorized resellers.
